Are there any other "good" photo apps other than photoshop for adjusting color levels, sharpening, contrast, brightness, resizing, etc....?

 

hrmm.. id think photoshop is the best... but you can try paintshop pro .

I haven't used it in a while, but Jasc's Paint Shop Pro was pretty good.

umm yea ikd wut crack u smoked...photoshop is hands down the leading photo editing program out there too date...if ur talkin liek logos and such then illustrator is best. but idk wut rumors ur talkign about.

Free, it can do what PS can do, but IMO the interface is not as nicely designed.

It's corel photo-paint.

 

I was talking about all the rumors of adobe checking SNs over the net with the new versions of PS.

 

i only use photoshop.. i believe they have some free image editing software on the web just do a google search.

dont get the new version then. i have 6 and its the best imo.

 

no way, cs can handle raw files, but 6 can't

I'd get PS 7.0 if you're worried about the newer versions. I still use 7 and like it alot better then the newest one. I guess gimp has a windows release too, try that if I couldn't use PS for some reason I'd go with gimp...

macromedia fireworks... you can get the freeware at the macromedia site...
