SHOULD I BUY THIS CRX???
its a 91 si. i dont really know that much about it. this is what i do:
cable b16 swap
apexi vafc
wings west body kit molded
struts and springs, dont know what kind
dc header
tanabe racing medallion exhaust
ripped gsr leather front seats
light blue metallic paint with a rust spot on the 1/4 panel and gas cover
grant steering wheel
si rims with new tires
the only problems that i saw was the check engine i got when i romped on it(dont know the code, i couldnt lift the carpet), the rust spots, and the leaking cam seals on the b16. it also had a slightly slipping clutch.
also he claims the mileage is 60k on the b16 and i think there is about 110k on the chassis
so what do u guys think?
for under 3gs is this car worth it?

ehh i'd honestly say dont buy a modded crx. onc eyou get it you wont be able to enjoy actually making it the way you want it, it will already be that way. half the fun of the crx is the wrenching you gotta do to make it YOURS

I added up those prices (the higher side) and ended up with a total of 4070. Plus you'll have plenty of extra goodies left over for spares, including doors, rear hatch, fuel pump/tank, front hubs/brakes, stereo, console, interior, carpet... blah blah blah.
DO IT.
Remember that I priced out the b16 swap with the mounts, computer, axles, linkages, basically EVERYTHING that is needed to make it easier to sell. I would buy a package that is THAT complete for 2200$ Especially if you take the one day it would take to fix the leaking seals. You'd be suprised on how easy it is to fix **** on an engine when it's out of the car.

3 reasons I wouldn't buy it..
1.It has rust.
2.The body kit is molded on..That means its gonna start cracking all around..And he might have covered up other rust with the bondo..
3.The cel is on and the clutch is gone..
I wouldn't buy it..
But if you can get it for around $1500-$2000.,,get i, and part it out as said and make a profit....

The rust would be enough for me to walk away... the other stuff can be fixed (hell, rust can be fixed too, if you feel like replacing body panels
)... just think about how much money you're going to have to sink into the car for repairs, then determine for yourself whether or not this deal is really all that great...

You should of STOPPED "molded body kit". If the motor is half built than so is the car, and the car as a hole is a half @5!
project he's trying to get rid of. Don't buy someone elses mess. Because you'll have to clean it up before you can have any fun with it!

After thinking about it I want to totally take back my previous statement.
I agree with this:
