Default Emergency Brake Light

Why would the emergency brake light come on while I was driving (not braking by the way)? I've checked the fluid levels, they're ok, I tried pumping the emergency brake lever, still stayed on. Brakes are fine, and I had my brakes done earlier this year.

What might it be?

could be the master cylinder going bad or the level sensor for the fluid.

you have a low brake fluid level. Add fluid and your problem will be solved more than likely.

if u would read his post u would see that he said that he already checked the fluid level and that it is fine.

It may be low in the resevoir but there may be bubbles in the likes. or it could be a sensor.
