Up here in Idaho Falls, ID, my friend used to have a 4dr 5 speed 5th gen.
I still have never seen an SI from those years. I never even knew they made em until recently. I'm REAL educated with my hondas evidently. (and to think I'm going to be doing my own swap soon). *smacks self*
Around here, people bought those CX hatches like they were going out of style. I see at least one on every trip to the grocery store I swear...
Do they say SI on them? Because I have not seen one that did, and I am fairly observant with cars, especially Hondas.

in my town of about 20,000 people there are at least 30 or more hatches i see almost everyday......1 less after i wrapped mine around a pole in april

nope, believe it or not, im not. Eclipses and mustangs are so in over here. I see 30 or more mustangs very day here.
By the way, i had to go to austin just to buy a hatch

the 4dr 5spd ex is very rare. thats to say bone stock. lots of civics out there from auto 4drs to 5spds with swaps. so who knows.

my area...its both...seen a couple si's...the si hatch is rare as ****...hence why i got a 2dr...closest to one since i couldnt find crap...im yet to see a 4dr 5spd ex here

I would have to say its hard to find the captive blue civic si in my area. Other than that, 92-95 civics are a dime a dozen here in the bay.

I've only seen 2 hatches here, both were non-SI. One is a VX down the block from me and the other is a DX. I've only seen 1 SI in a 30 mile radius from here. Seen a few EG8's around, EX models.

I don't think I ever hear civic and rare in the same sentence. But really it seem like every hatch is a si around here or people just say it is for some dumb *** reason and 5-speed ex 4 door never noticed before.

all the civic in my area look like ****. sporting either unpainted body kits or motegi rims. but i guess i see more 4 door ex's
