hey guys. i just got a system from one of my friends. im having a couple of problems. i cant figure out how to take the wire from the battery through the fire wall . there seems to be no holes anywhere so i had to take it through the side of my door. and then how do u open the stock bose deck to hook up the blue wire that goes to the amp. i got the bottom part of it open where the lighter is but i cant get to the rest of the deck. I drive an 02 type s....your help would be greatly appreciated...ill post pics as soon as i get it all done. thanx

 

I would strongly discourage running the power cable through the door. If the wire pinches or wears it'll ground itself out and **** up your car. Even w/ an inline fuse between the battery and door isn't a safe bet. Take out the stock air box and drill through the fire wall from the driver side floor. Check and double check where you drill!!! Then insert a rubber grommett in the hole and run your cable through it. Make sure the cable fits snug so nothing else gets in.
