need help wit dohc zc

Default need help wit dohc zc

i just picked up a d16a1 almost complete for 100 bux, anywayz is there anyway that i can clean the motor because it has rust inside when i took off the intake mani it had rust in one of the holes, so if i take the head off how do i clean it???? and sorry if this is a noob question

Use brillo to get that rust off....
And a d16a1 is not a zc motor..it is from the 87-89 us integra..and it does not bolt in to the 88-91 chassis like the zc does..It does however bolt to the 84-87 civic/crx

ZC motors have ZC stamped on them..There is dohc zc,sohc zc,and sohc vtec zc..

one thing you will need is mounts, and those are NOT cheap (200-300$)

werr do i get monts frum and can i fab um is it hard i searched and heard people fabin them but idk if i should keep this motor and is it worth it??? please help me out thanx for all the help

Your stock D16a6=108HP

All that work and money for 10HP? I would say NO

so wat if i made the mount and i turboed it isnt better than turboing a a6??? cuz its stonger??? anywayz the reason y i want to do dis is cuz i got dis motor cheap and my hatch doesnt hav a motor its a dx so it doesnt matter if its 10 hp more than an si cuz its faster than my stock dx anywayz so help me out thanx for all the input

You really need to work on your grammer skills, even if you ask the most ignorant question you will sound somewhat educated. Anyways, there is no point in making the mounts for this motor as it is not cost beneficial. I.E. Don't do it. It isn't faster then a stock DX since you will not have a transmission to mount to it, and with no transmission you will not go anywhere.
