Default Your R's suspension stinks..

My new mountain bike has more technology -

6 - way adjustable, beeeyoutch!

(ITR Content - I lined up with a yellow R on the Key Bridge and street raced him 10 blocks thru Georgetown - I won by a healthy margin, but then again I was going aginist some "light" oncoming traffic and didnt stop for redlights.)

d00d I think you were racing Ross!

Are the shocks serviceable in the US? Koni revalve? Insert general suspension question here.

I doubt it was Ross, as I said, the R stopped at red lights

Geek information:

Weight:
500 grams
Damping:
SPV 6-Way
Adjustments:
Preload, Rebound, SPV Platform Pressure, SPV Volume, Low Speed Compression, High Speed Compression

Full rebuilds done in USA - turn around time is under 2 weeks.

Some of the shocks in the (UK) Mountain Bike mag I gave Trey looked a lot nicer than that.

Best advise I read on H-T in a while!

Best bikes I've owned:

Merlin Mtn. full XTR (right before Litespeed takeover)

&

Litespeed Hiwassee HT Xt/Lx Judy SL

Worst bikes:

Proflex 854

&

Cannondale Jekyll (sold for Trek 5200, e.p. of course)

I know a few of those. What bike do you have by the way?

I recently had to replace one of those for a customer when I worked at a bike shop due to a massive failure. Nice stuff though

and yes .RJ hardtails are still the best

Specialized rockhopper.... probably replacing it with a trek 8500 this winter.

I rode a full suspension trek fuel 98 earlier this year. It was nice... carbon frame, full suspension, disc brake... but just didnt like it.

Hell yeah RJ, Specialized stumpjumper here. Hardcore S fan. In the midwest we cant utilize all this 53 way adjustable suspension, but the specialized hardtails can dominate in the singletrack races.

I think I quit that **** though and started driving for exercise now...
