Larger rear tire other than the stock size?
Would it be possible for me to put a slightly wider tire on the rear than what the stock size is? The size now is a 150/80-16. I was just wondering if it's even possible or not even reccomended.
depending on the wheel width and the swingarm clearance , yes it is possible to step up a little, but it will affect the quickness of handling in the turns a bit.

Pointless, by puttign a wider tyre on the stock rim you will faltten the profile which will means you wont end up using all of the tyre and have much less feedback on turn-in.

it depends on your rim width and which tire you're going with. On my VFR, I'm going to go from a 150-160 rear but also going from a 120/60 front to a 120/70 front
