Default My 1989 DX won't go past 93mph?!

How can I make it a little faster? I want to do at least 100 on the freeway if I'd like to.

Why? Not only will you lose your car for criminal speed, but what if you kill someone. How would you like to live with that for the rest of your life, knowing you killed someones mom, dad, grandma, grandpa, 2yr old kid.
Do yourself a favor and go run into a tree in the your front yard that way you and your car won't be on the road.
I hope no one gives you any answer on how to go faster and someone locks this thread

Find a long down hill, with no other car on the road, then floor it going down.

Fine I'll be helpful.

You have to adjust the timing to full advance. Once you have done this it is time to get a FPR and turn down the fuel pressure about 10 psi. Less fuel will help you go faster on the top end. These alone wont get you there so you have ot get a dry nitrous kit. I would run a 75-100 shot and kill vettes on the top end. Nothing like the thrill of showing a vette your tails on a top end run.

That should cover it. Follow these steps and have some fun. Be sure to post vids.

disclaimer- I do not condone illegial activity.

Swap the motor, or do SI intake manifold if you don't have the money for a swap, because that will give you about 20 horse if you're lucky.

Second of all, just don't hit me when you're careening down the freeway goin 100.

Third, may God help your severly misguided soul.

edit: Holy stupidity Batman, how do you ALREADY have a 92%????

I've been shot from a dead stop to 105 in 14 seconds, in a CRX, passing a Winco, with cars to the left and right of me which were going 35. It had to have been one of the scariest things in my entire life, as I was not the driver, and had no idea what he was going to do. Thank god the guy got arrested doing it again. 100 IS too fast to be going on a freeway.
