Burning Oil!
I have a 1991 Honda Accord LX, when i drive it nicely you can't smell the oil, but when I shift at redline in every gear then i can smell it, I am thinking it is either my head gasket or piston rings?
Could be a bunch of things. And not really the rings and such...
usually, when rings are in question (wear), the engine will burn oil at low rpms. And when heat is applied to them, they will actually seal better (expansion).
It might be that your rings are warped. So under WOT, they are binding or something.
So, it would be a good thing to leak down test to check this.
Also, you might want to check the oil pan seal for leaks. It may well be that oil, leaking from there, is splashed on the exhaust thus creating the smell.
