Just talked to a freind of mine who just purchased a used Spoon EF cluster from over sea's. Has anybody ever heard or seen one before?

He will have it in about a week. I will try to get any info i can on it once it arrives.

that speedo gear is from stock EURO VTi civic/crx. They've only place the sticker on it.
check my big 56K pictures...

I like the link, its a good write up, BUT that is a a different speedo. Look at the position of the trip reset button.

weather the position of the spoon sticker is left or right, or the other things slightly displaced from the "FOK"&"SPOON" oem position, the fact remains, it reads 250km/hr. if you want the real thing, some one is asking US $750 for it. Go for it!
This company is brilliant. Rims made in Russia... but hey, it's JDM!
I could go on.

The position of the Spoon sticker? Read my post again and you'll see i was talking about the trip odometer reset, not the sticker. My friend got his for about $400 i found out.

As for the rims, yes, all Spoon SW88 and Regamaster EVo wheels are made by Desmond out of Russia. They used to make military arms equipment back in the day. Now they make high quality forged wheels for JDM wheels companies. I have some myself.

If you REALLY want a spoon cluster, check the DIY thread on a 99 Si Cluster in a EF... but use a spoon cluster for the EK instead.

For my own ride i replaced the cluster for a 1991 SIR one w/9500 rpm tach which i needed to use for monitoring the revs on the B18C5. The stock cluster just won't cut it with a max of 8000rpm, and there's no way way i'm running a monster tach in my show car.

I spent the money on the Spoon Speedo because I already have almost everything else that I want... LOL

Yes, it is a Genuine Spoon Speedo, of that there is no doubt... and its actually closer to $350 USD I spent ($400 Canadian $, as I am in Canada). Now that it has arrived, I can particpate in this discussion about me... LOL

The SPOON sticker isn't actually a sticker at all. It is an integrated part of the speedo unit... and I already have a Spoon VTEC Controller, and ECU so I wanted this one to complete the 'set'. Plus I have two other regular EF8/9 clusters, so what's one more??

Point blank -- I am a JDM parts *****, and I have more money than I do brains... I work three jobs, I have no kids, I don't drink, I don't smoke weed and have no real 'debt', so what else would I spend my money on?

Hey Deetz, what's up? I finally got my *** in gear and got a membership here. I'm gonna head out and explore this site (as much as I can do with my 'trial membership' and all! LOL) and see what's happening on here. I gotta work all weekend and most of next week but next weekend I should pop on by and check out the Rex...

Later

Andy

I see one every time i get in my car...

I did see one for years and all the sudden in the last 10-12 months I've seen 6-10 surface.

And it's not really a cluster as spoon just sold the speedo to replace the stocker.
