Default Fuel Pressure Regulator Question!!!!!!!!!!!!

Hey guys, hope yall could tell me what is wrong with my fuel pressure regulator. I have AEM fuel rail with AEM fuel pressure regulator along with a lot of other bolt ons. I have a fuel pressure gauge hook up right on the fuel rail. I just notice that the fuel pressure never go down even if I leave my car not running for couple day. I always set my fuel pressure at 40psi and it never drops. It wasn't like that b4 when I first installed it. I have it for about 1 year. Is there anything wrong with that? Thanks!

open gas cap, release the pressure from your fuel line while watching needle go down. When is the last time you changed your fuel filter?

I bought the car used had 42000 mile on it. It is a 99 Prelude base. I didn't change it yet, and I don't think the last owner did it either.

Part is cheap. and changing it is pretty simple, if annoying.. just make sure you have a flare wrench (line wrench or pipe wrench). Search if you need further info.

At 43k you should change it anyway. Sticking needle will happen often on the cheaper air/gas filled guages. I have not known the water filled to fail this way. Your car is running fine though right?

My car runs fine. I have B&M fuel pressure gauge mounts right on top of the fuel rail. I 'm very sure the needle is not sticky at all. When I rev the engine by the throttle cable, it moves up and down.

just move the adjuster screw on the fpr, and if the needle moves too, then you are fine. leave it alone.
