Default Need help choosing radiator application

First off, this is for a 1992 Prelude SI w/ JDM H22A motor swap. Will a radiator for a 92-96 Prelude S work? Or a 92-96 SI? Or a radiator for the 93-96 Prelude VTEC model? Any info is appreciated, thank you.

I can't imagine what the difference would be between the 3, but if you have a choice, of course get the VTEC rad. Also, the ones for autos probably have a tranny cooler...

You should buy either one made for an Si or a VTEC (They are EXACTLY the same)

DO NOT get one for a Prelude S. It is different.

yeah go to http://www.radiators.com and make sure to get a radiator cap to go with it or you'll be buying everyone of them under the sun trying to get it right.

Thanks for the quick responses everyone. All the info's going to be a big help. I was a little worried about fitment since the 1992 SI's originally had H23's. Thanks again.

I have 92 Si with an "Si" radiator and a JDM H22 swap. TRUST ME!!! It will work if you get a radiator made for either an Si or VTEC.

I bought mine for $118 shipped to me with a lifetime warranty.

Mine arrived in 2 days.

I specifically remember because 3 days before I had a track event, my OEM radiator blew. lol

I was installing the radiator the night before the track event. lol

Wow, $118? I assume it wasn't an all aluminum radiator? Is this from a website? If so, what site? Thanks.

Nope, it's an OEM replacement. TRUST ME, you don't need an all Al. radiator. The OEM replacements are good enough. You will not see ANY benefit from a Al radiator.

EXACTLY!!

Aftermarket radiators for NA cars are like cross drilled/slotted rotors....a waste of mod money.

I'm thinking about buying Koyo's OEM style radiator. It has the normal plastic parts and an aluminum core... sounds good to me, but it's an eBay item and I haven't found an online shop that has them. So I'm wondering if these are knockoffs, or if Koyo even makes OEM style radiators.

Anyone used these before? Any good?
