Default Do these look like 00 ITR cams to you?


Also, does that look like a LOT of wear on the cams as well?

we can only see 3 lobes on the cam so we cant tell the wear, also 00,01 itrcams have 2 rings on the distributor cam correct me if im wrong guys..

those look like either 97 usdm itr cams or 96+jdm itr cams

00-01 have a little more duration on the intake cam nothing to lose sleep over

to my knowledge, the 96-97 versions are different from the 98 and 01 specs ... the 96-97 uses ITR cams and the 98-01 versions uses the CTR cams. it's more aggressive.

I thought 97-98 cam were different from the 00-01 (CTR cams)

This is why I'll never buy a used set of cams. 1. They all look the same. 2. You can't tell how many miles are on them.

They are, that's why so many 97-98 owners switch out their intake cams for the CTR intake cam. Waste of money IMHO

yeah but the easiest way to tell the intake cam is to looks at the dizzy side of the intake cams and see if it has two rings around it, if so its at least a 00-01 itr cam or a jdm ctr intake cam. that what i do know.

man thats scary, i have a set of B16 sir cams that look just like that.. I can not tell these things apart.
