Default need help asap

i have a 88 si crx and did the mini-me swap, stayed obd0, and used the crx IM, bc the TPS was broken on the TB when i got it. well, i picked up a TB off a d15b7(will it work on a d16z6 IM?) and put it on the z6 IM. hooked everything back up execpt the purge control valve, bc the crx doesn't have a clip for it.(do i leave it unhooked?) went to start the car, and it ran fine for about 30 sec, then the idle started to go up and down really bad, and some smoke started coming out form from what looked like the back of the engine. what is going on? why is it doing this? and do i do anything about the MAP sensor? i just unplugged the old plug(the one that has 3 wires) and plugged it into the MAP sensor on the b7 TB. what do i do with the other plug off the MAP and all the hoses, toss it?

is the smoke white? if so then you are probably getting coolant in your intake. i went throught this whole thing last weekend, putting a z6 intake on my car. plug your map sensor into the b7 tb. the air hoses can all be rerouted. take the one from the old map sensor and i think it goes to the nipple on the back of the intake. the problem i ran into was i did not get a new gasket, so the orange rubber seal that goes at the coolant port stuck to my old intake when i took it off. i did'nt realize it so i started my car and white smoke poured out of the exhaust. stopped car and repeated whole process thinking i got some trash between the intke and block. started it and it poured more smoke. i put the old one back on and realized what happened.
