Default welding cast iron

is it possible to weld cast iron? i have an edelbrock turbo manifold and want to put an external WG on it. the local fabricator, he builds outlaw class muscle cars, won't even touch it! the manifold is supposed to have high nickel content

well there is a way to weld cast iron, but nothing any normal person can do. It takes special equipment to make it last.
