Fuel tank full but gauge at 3/4 tank? Why?
If the gage in the cluster doesn't move at all replace the gage. You need an ohmmeter for the next part. Remove the back seat and remove the fuel level sending unit. Move the float up and down to simulate empty, 1/2 full, and full. Resistance should be 105-110 ohms (empty), 25.5-39.5 ohms (1/2 full), 2-5 ohms (full). Replace sending unit if resistance readings are out of spec.
::shrugs:: sounds good guys...this at least gives me an idea where to aim...I'm not gonna worry about it too much right now (unless you think I should?). I just ordered the RS*R ExMag exhaust
so I'm a lil more into getting that on. Thanks again.
