Default Reverse glow gauges

I recently bought my car with some blue/green reverse glow gauges yet they dont light up at night. I took the part off under my steering wheel and found the **** for the brightness and switch for blue or green. There was one wire that was not sautered on and i turned my lights on and connected the wire. There was still no blue light so i was just wondering if there could be a different solution that any of you guys know. Still can only post in here since im a trial member. Ive been a trial member for about 2 months so when can i become a real member? Thanks for your help.

try moving the wire that supposed to be saudered to another point, there should be three points on the switch, if this doesn't help check your others wires

My lude had indiglo gauges when I bought it and I just took them out. The stock lude gauges (5th gen at least) at sexy as hell. I would recommend just taking them out.

I had a set also, started to short out and flicker, esp. in the winter.
i would stick with the OEM gauges.

I got the same problem, I got my car with indiglo gauges that didn't light up. I wanted to take it off like what everyone suggest but when I was going to, there was one big problem with trying to do so....there was like nothing behind the indiglo gauges, I was like wtf. I thought these things were just on top of the stock ones??? so now at night, I don't even know how fast im going, the tach is koo tho cuz I memorize where red line is. Oh well, my speedo is off like a biatch anyways.
