Default Spoon vs. Rota

Just asking for a comparison. I know the Spoon wheel is better, but what is the major difference between them other than the price?

and here continues the Rota war...

rota makes wheels that are replicas of companies like mugen, spoon, etc. I see no problem with rota wheels. so many people are against them b/c "man they're fake, they're copies y0!!!"

Search the archives if you like to see pissing matches about this and maybe a little bit of good info.

differences? cast, forged, light, not as light, expensive, cheap, one breaks easier than the other (still hard to bend/break either kind), bling, not bling.

If you bend/break/scratch/curb a spoon you'll either:

A)Shoot yourself in the face after repeatedly punching yourself in the *****.
B)Uses pieces of the broken wheel to slit your wrists.
or
C)Bludgen yourself in the head with the bent rim as you cry yourself into a coma.

If you bend/break/scratch/curb a rota you'll:

A)plop down another $120 on a new rim.

but in reality...it's all about the BLING BLANG...

the weight of the wheel and the shape of the casting in a few places.
the valve stem is metal vs. rubber.

To answer you question, they're knockoffs but if they were stock width I'd be rocking them at races.

I'm just saying...probably 90% of the people on Honda-tech would get no actual performance benefit that is noticeable from having spoon's vs. rota's, that's all...and for show...it's deffinitely all about the bling blang...look at all the show stunna "jdm" cars that are being built...jesus...it's called rice to spend tons of money on a 10 year old hatch back if it's altezzas and body kits and subwoofers and tv's...but when it's $500 wheels and $4000 paint jobs and super rare pieces that cost a grip then it's all of a sudden not rice?

I guess by the weight and the finish and the material used, spoons have a cleaner finish to it. Spoon rims are made in japan and rota's are not.
