WTF. rota slipstreams are knockoffs of spoon SW388's so i dont think it matters. if they look like slipstreams buy them, i mean slipstreams are like 100 bucks each new so i dont see the point in buying used ones lol

real rota slipstreams? LOL you mean real spoon??? rota slipstreams are knockoffs of spoon. well to tell if they are real rotas or not simply look at the hub cap.. it should say rota on them if they are new

I'm with prettylew lol. Rota Slipstreams are in fact a replica of the Spoon SW388's most of rota's wheels are replicas of other wheels.

It doesn't matter if they're knockoffs of actual Spoon's, because they all pretty much are the same (the knockoffs). I'd just buy new tires and Rotas anyways.. they're cheap as hell.

^ I doubt there's actually "Rota" knockoffs. I'm pretty sure they're all knockoffs of the Spoons.

damnit... crucify the guy why dont you.. not everyone has the money to buy 2-3 thousand dollar sets of rims! instead of bashing him why dont you just give him as best answer as you can without being rude about it!

besides if everyone had real spoons what would be the value of them...

be thankful everyone cant go buy real ones.

i bought a set of flat black rota slips back in the day for my eg hatch..they were 16's for 300$ from a friend. The rims rode fine, one was bent so i put it in the back but nothing serious, was hardly noticable at ALL and i had falken's on the back and two new ventus put on the front, so they rode good, looked good, everybody liked em cuss they suckers and it's convenient cause you have rims instead of steelies.

hell, I CAN afford them, and still wouldn't buy them. Doesn't make the question less funny though. I mean, how silly would you look if you went on a watch forum and asked how to spot a genuine "Folex"

Only reason I'm not rocking rotas is because I found SSR's cheaper.

rota's are good enough for occasional autocross or "autoX" if you wanna call it that and street driving for getting from point A to point B while still whoopin up on some people or your friends for fun.

You don't need genuine expensive pricey harsh on your wallet special suepr awsome race rims nobody else has unless this is a true race car for track only like circuit racing or car shows.

Whats really gonna happen is your gonna go broke from buying them, then [freak]ed them up around town on curbs and potholes that and or somebody is gonna SEE them and steal them somehow one way OR the other.

The truth, a fact, and common sense.
