drop springs
i cant stand the height and wheel gap on my car. im rollin on stock 15's with 205/55-15 (i think .... winter tires ... who cares). i was driving behind a newer bodied civic this morning and it was noticably dropped. but he was bouncing all over the place and looked like a slop job with the springs. what i am getting at is i do not want to sacrifice my ride quality for anything! if i lose a little, thats fine, but if i blow it out of the water, ill be pissed. what drop is good enough to reduce wheel gap but still look pretty low. and should i upgrade my shocks at the same time?
he probably had cut springs, which sucks. you can lower the car and keep it tight. and DEFINATELY upgrade the shocks if you lower! the stock shocks will go out quickly. and don't go cheap! pay for something that will last. I have been very happy with my Ground Control adjustable springs and Tokico Illumina adjustable shocks. ran me around $700 for the whole deal with shipping. if you have the money, Koni makes some of the best shocks and have a great warranty.
