I did search and found all the codes but not one that starts with and H. It is a 5 speed tranny but I think the sticker may be from something else.

Sounds shady but we jsut want to make sure it is worth pulling off his tranny to swap it with this tranny. The guy gave us the tranny to test before he pays him but its just a big burden to swap out the trannys and then find out it not the one we need and have to swap it agai.

I think is a 4-speed m/t off a Geo Metro!

Here is your answer! There is no Tranny Code that has H2 in it that came off any car that will work on a H-series motor.

WRONG! 98-02 Accords have H2 transmission #'s H2A8, H2A6, H2a4 and they WILL work on prelude just very long gears.

1990-1993 accords had H2a5 trannies
1990-1993 accord ex's had h2u5 trannies
the wagons had Hwu4 trannies

and btw they WILL bolt up to an h22a and work, just longer gearing is all...
anyway it sounds like an accord tranny to me.
