Im trying to take the heat shield off of my stock exhaust manifold off and remove the one on the back of the manifold and two fo te head studd break off on the left side. The left left one and the top left one. Is it going to start leaking now since they broke off? What do i do now?

If you are talking about the bolts that hold the header on, i am missing 2 on the passenger side and im not having any leaks.

i have heard to fix issues of broken studs you have to get a tool to drill it out from at napa
or take it to the dealer and pay out the wa-zoo

yeah i broke one when i was taking off my heat shield. I drilled a small hole in it and pounded in an screw extractor or whatever it's called and turn it out. Since there is no space to get my drill in there i had to remove the bumper radiator and ac if you have it. otherwise if you have like a 90 degree drill that would be really helpful right now.
I replaced all the studs and castle bolts, $70 in hardware from the dealership. If you you think your good at car stuff this is no biggie but if your having second thoughts just take it somewhere or plan b don't fix it.
It's all up to up.

getting bolts out is easy. get a reversible drill and an e-z out .. just get a small normal drill bit and drill/tap the center of the broken stud .. just enough so that the e-z out can get a grip .. then use the e-z out to extract the stud. it'll be out in like .. 2 minutes.
