I have a 91 Civic hb and i was thinking about doing a shaved door handle kit, but i am not sure what i have to do to get a clean finished look. How would i do this job and make it look good?

 

Take off the door handles..
Get 18 gauge sheet metal and cut it to go over where the door handles were..
Weld it in place..
Sand the welds down till its smooth..
Put bondo over the area to make it level..(Dont use to much though)
Then primer and paint...
Now u need a way to open the door..
get solenoinds to pop open door that are triggerd by a remote..
They make a door popper kit if you dont wanna piece together the wiring,solenoids,remotes,etc....Search google..

I recomend taking to a body shop though and have it done proffesionally..

 

all in all, its ur personal preference, but just a bit of info for ya..

a buddy of mine did this, and after half way thru the summer, he was quite annoyed with it.. the novilty wore off real fast..

just keep that in mind**

Also I dont think its legal in drag racing to have no door handles. Dunno if you drag race.
