Default got swiped by a dumbass

someone dumbass swiped my front passenger side and now there is a long black mark about 7" long...i was thinking about going to kragen and getting some touch up paint to fix it...but what are the procedures...like..buff out the black marks..wash it..primer it...paint it..clear coat it...?...(i will put masking tape around the swipe so that other areas dont get painted)

if it is just a black streak, buffing it should do the trick.

If it's just a minor black streak and it's not all the way to the metal, you can go to Kragen and get some rubbing compound. You probably don't need the strong abrasive one. A little of the rubbing compund and elbow grease should do the trick.
