Default while my CRX is in the garage for the winter...

....i'm hoping to pop out my crappy coilsleeves and put in some new springs..
my KYBs are fine, so i think i'll just need to replace the springs

I'm looking for a decent drop, with minimal rear fender gap ( i used to have H&R race, and the rear gap was hideous..seems to be common on CRXs)

I've done some searches on eibach sportlines, and i can't seem to come to a concensus. Some users feel the drop is perfect (or even too low) and some find it just didn't drop enough. Can anyone give me a straight answer?

Or any alternatives to sportlines?
TIA folks!!

**** that! sportlines suck, you need some neuspeed race springs, perfect drop, 2.25 in the back, or just get some g-c coilovers and dont worry about it

what's the spring rate on the gc's? don't the springrates change as you make the coils tighter or looser (adjust them for lower or heigher)?

I'm curious as to why you say Sportlines suck, but you recommend the GC's?

Eibach provides the springs for the Sportlines and the GC's, but why are the sportlines sucky?

You say sportlines suck and to get gc coilovers,,but gc and sportlines are both by eibach so stop contradicting yourself...

Eibach gets by me..Ive seen them on hondas, mustangs,
rx-7s,camaros,starlets,etc and have friends that have had those for over 2-3years and those springs dont sag like H&R or neuspeed does....
So dont talk crap about something you dont know..

You can order any spring rates you want from Ground Control. No extra charge.

<TABLE WIDTH="90%" CELLSPACING=0 CELLPADDING=0 ALIGN=CENTER><TR><TD>Quote &raquo;</TD></TR><TR><TD CLASS="quote">don't the springrates change as you make the coils tighter or looser (adjust them for lower or heigher)?</TD></TR></TABLE>
No, because they use Eibach ERS springs, which have linear rates.

yeah that white crx is NICE....makes me wish I had never put a WW kit on. I have the H&R race springs and the back has a 1 fiinger gap while the front has like 2 finger gap. WTF? and you say those neuspeeds dumped you that low? You had to have cut them or something....those wheels are tucking. I thought the neuspeed and the H&R race had the same drop.....

H&R does have small gap, but that's so the meats don't get cut up by the fender wells. I dunno, I like em. Eibach's are nice too.

haha madman
