Default Engine help-ROUGH IDLE!

I have a 1997 Accord SE F22B2. My car has an extremely rough idle--even worse when I turn on the A/C. Also, it sounds like a diesel! Blug, blug, blug, blug, blug, blug. Changed the air filter, spark plugs, spark plug wires, oil & filter. PLEASE HELP!

do the symptoms only occur during idle? could be several reasons, bad tpc sensor, o2 sensor might need replacing, fuel filter might need replacing..

Are you throwing any CEL's (check engine lights)

Does the idle bounce at all? Does it get better or worse after warm up?

Did it start all of a sudden?

What did you do (mods or repairs) before it started doing this?

Mine does the same.... and people told me bad motor mounts cuz the idle doesnt drop. It stays where it is supposed to stay. Cars just shivers like crazy thats all.

It did not start all of a sudden. Started about Feburary. No engine mods, just new muffler, but I had that on a long time ago. No check engine lights. Gets worse after warm up. It kinda bounces--that would be motor mounts then I presume. When I turn on the A/C, it's worse. And maybe it's the fuel filter. Never been replaced

A good indication if the motormounts are at fault is that you look at your shifter. If, by hitting the gaz, the shifter (inside the car of course) sorta moves on ya, that usually means your engine is not "tied down" properly. A visual inspection of them, aided by a pry bar, can determine if the mounts are shot.
