i did a conversion & put a 2000 man gsr motor in my 96 ls auto right, my 96 comp runs the motor fine ( but obviously the v-tec aint popin yet)but i just traded a headlight for a 99 gsr comp & it plugs in perfectly it idles good but when u go its a Little weak, then it goes, then when u get up in the higher rpm the car jerks a little then dog's all out like its stalling hmmmm, got any ideas?

first and foremost i think the correct term is "bogging," don't get me wrong--i'm not a flamer, just a really **** retentive...
anyway, my first guess would be to get a tune-up, i find that everytime my car's sluggish i just swap a basica tune-up item (ie spark plugs/fuel filter/etc) and it gets back to full potential, but i dunno...
hope this helps, although i doubt it

Did you change the fuel pump and/or fuel pressure regulator? Cause LS runs like 15psi lower presure than GSR, on WOT you will get hesitation cause there is not enoth fuel ....

everything that was attached to the motor was swaped, changed the fuel filter,
didnt chang out the fuel pump, but my ls comp ran the motor great had lots of power, the comp is upgraded but i dont think that would matter. i dont see why the 99 would make it act like this, unless i have to change some wires around that aint in the right spot

you can only gues at that point......If i were you I would check the fuel pressure with the fuel pressure gauge, and then go from there. At least this way you would know that your pump works properly(get the specs for fuel pressure foe this engine)
