Default front tires air loss

k, this is my problem

my 96 accord is on B&G springs and Tociko white struts

my initial problem was that both my front tires were losing a lot of air...i had to inflate them basically every 2 weeks when i pumped gas..only the front...not the rear tires

then i rotated the tires...i put the back tires upfront and the front tires in the back....and i have teh same problem....the tires in the front now (the rear ones) are losing a lot of air......but the tires in the back (which orginally were in teh back and were losiing air) are fine

i sprinkled them with water as well to look for leaks...i coudtn't find anythign.....the only conclusion i'm coming to is that cuz my car is dropped i'm losing air in the front cuz more weight on the tires not sure

Retard.

I'd take it to a tire shop and explain the situation to them. See what they come up with. I'd say it's some problem with the front suspension, I've never heard of that happening before.

did you switch just the tires or did you try switching the wheels too?

maybe bent wheels up front and not holding air well?

hmm...(worked at a tire shop for a year)

That I have to admit is really odd. Maybe you're getting some type of weird *** vibration or camber that is causing the tires to leak around the bead. Or depending on your neighbors...someone is just ******* with you.

If you feel ambitious what you can do is take the tires off, make some really soapy water (not too bubbly though), and pour (not spray, makes too many bubbles) it onto the bead. Wait five minutes or so and see what it's doing, bead leaks are really slow and will make a fine foam. Check the inside and out. Oftentimes bead leaks are caused by corrosion built up where the rubber actually meets the rim. A good tire shop should be able to seal just about anything as long as they grind off the corrosion and put a rubbery sealant on it. I suppose you could do this yourself if you had some way to inflate the tire again.

That's what I suspect since you said you have to fill it every two weeks or so, nails leak faster than that.

usually i fill my tires to about 30-33 psi

if i forget to inflate my tires...the next week the tires drop to about 20 psi...so i consider that a lot of air

i'm gonna be storing my car in the garage, so i'm not sure if my tires will deflate as it is parked....i'm thinking of parking it on a 4x8 sheet of plywood, i was told this will keep the moisture away from teh car (coming out of teh concrete floor)

but either i have to keep a pump wit me.....or drive it to teh gas station without insurance every once in awhile to inflate the tires

A sheet of plastic wll do the same and be cheaper.
You might want to park it on jack stands to go easy on the suspension too. That's recommended for long-term storage.

your rim could be cracked aka spray down your wheels!
