i forget if it does it when the motor is cold.. but when i start it when it's warm.. the first try never starts it.. starter is working but just doesn't catch.. so i stop cranking.. and retry and it starts right up...

any ideas???

 

What is the condition of your plugs? Do you have anything aftermarket that affects your timing?

 

my starter has been taking a little while to work also, it starts up on the first try buit has to crank for like 5 sec before. Just started doing this about 2 weeks ago, any ideas? I have new plugs and wires oem honda. Also its a new starter. thanks

 

my plugs are good.. looked at them a while back.. i don't think i have anything aftermarket that affects timing either.. i guess maybe if i get my hondata tuned again it may fix the problem.. the starter is also new.. wires are magnacore's.. i was thinking of putting my old nology wires in.. but i dunno if i should bother..
