just wondering what else i should replace as im build up my b18b for a turbo setup. im getting the block sleeved and replacing the pistons and rods but should i be replacing any other parts. thought about doing the bearings but am unsure if i should be replacing anything else or if the should even worry about the bearings. this is my first engine build up from scratch so im a newbie at this.

Bearings, rod bolts, head studs are always smart. To reuse the bearings would be like reusing the rings =

 

gotcha thanks for the info. ya i planned on going with the arp head studs. so just oem bearings from honda for the b18b should do it then. i've got the rest of the stuff now.

 

oh LOL now i know what my friends have been bitching about when it comes to color coded bearings. just got off the phone with acura concerning this new adventure.

 

make sure you write down all the colors
