RPMS drop down to ~900-800 (from ~1500) when i start engine.. What is it?

RPMS drop down to ~900-800 (from ~1500) when i start engine.. What is it?

'95 accord LX manual. I noticed that after i start engine (the car is on hand brake) ` in 5-7 min the RPMS go down to ~900 from ~1500. The engine sounds like its going to stop running .. What is it?

Its normal. When the motor is cold (its cold cold cold out now) the car will idle higher, and as it warms up, the RPM's will drop.
