i read the service bulletin thing, but i'm wondering if anyone else has a rough 1st to 2nd shift w/ their ep3. at high rpms it grinds, and any other time it's a rough shift. took it to one dealer and they said nothing was wrong. took it to another dealer and they said it was "abused" and not to tach past 5 grand. (?) anyone else have this problem and, if so, what did you do? honda advertises the si as a "sports car", so why no taching above 5000?

 

i have the same problem. i am taking it to the dealer next week and they seem to be a cool dealership so i am hoping they will help me out. i always shift easy in my car... these transmissions just do not hold up

 

tell me about it. it's ridiculous. i went back right after i made this post and told them i knew about teh rsx bulletin and that i have never experienced such poor quality from honda or acura before. then i told them my name and the service guy remembered my dad's s2000 and all of the sudden they were cool about. so they will have the parts next week and i get free "powered by honda" sweatshirt out of it. hope it a ll goes well for you too.
