I was just on Omnipowerusa.com and say they have them listed on their site now. I need to order a set for my CRX now. Now all we need to do is get those guys to make us a front camber kit, so Vision isn't the only choice for complete arms.
There's a company in LA that was selling them for $599 shipped until Dec 1st. They had been advertising them on HT for the past month.

I believe thats the only feature. I was talking with Eggman about the Vision arms and he said they were basically only good for dialing in MORE - camber. Hopefully omni's design can do the exact opposite. I've been dying for a good set of upper arms (even though i just spent a grip on new OEM ones)

88-89 have no replacable ball-joint and you have to switch to 90-91 or replace the whole arm
, by the time you do that u might as well get a whole new set, new bushings, and the whole shot.

I could have koni yellow+GC or skunk2's instead.
They do look amazing tho. Fix that problem...and I'm getting a set for sure.</TD></TR></TABLE>
From what I hear they are valved for the car for max performance and they say that most of the time people cause more problems then anything by adjusting them. I can see though the people that want to soften it up at times, but **** that I like it to perform the best at all times. I read a write up in the type-r forum awhile ago and it was very inticing, he went from apex'i WS coil-overs to omnis and loved them.

Not true, they do come out and places do sell ball joints for them. I also just bought 2 brand new upper arms for an 89 crx and they also have replaceable ball joints.

So yeah.. I would like to soften them up on occasion.</TD></TR></TABLE>
the sport version feel surprisingly good, compared to the H&R sport springs and OEM dampers.
omniman's stuff controls the springs a lot better, and handles the shitty roads far superiour to the previous set-up.
i feel that you don't need damper adjustment when they are valved properly to the spring.

Havent we already discussd this matter? 88-89 honda civics originally did NOT come with replaceable style upper ball joints. I know, I have an 89. What brand of upper arms did u buy? ALL aftermarket replacement upper arms should come with the updated style.

Thank you. I have a 88 Civic DX w/ no replaceable ball-joint, and a 89 CRX Si with no replaceable balljoint. Thank you for backing me up.
90blackcrx get your info straight before posting false info.

Yeah we discussed it but tell me how I have 2 stock 1989 arms sitting here and the ball joints are in fact removable, and I have talked to other people that also had stock 89 arms and the ball joints were removable. And if you see the arms I have, you will be able to tell that there stock and never been changed.

Must be an '89 model year only, certain trim level, made in a certain country thing. Sorta like the fact that 89 HFs have the seatbelt in the pillar not the door.
, But only possibly more rare, since I have an '89 CRX Si , made in Japan, old style arms, and '88 DX Civic made in Japan, with old style arms. Whattrim level and where was your car made.

I have an 89 hatchback DX...i can check its origin but mine came with the NON replaceable style. I also think there is a slim to none chance that black90crx can prove that the 89 arms he has are infact TRUELY off a 89. 89 and 90 arms will look exactly the same when it comes to age. Same amount of dirt, grit etc will be on them. Every pre 90 hatch or rex i came across had the welded in style.

the fact that there would be another alternative to the vision arms which are stupid expensive at like $500/pair, when the EG/DC guys can get the same thing for ~$170.
and just for statistics, my '89 DX does not have replacable ball joints in the upper A arms.

I just received from a friend a photo of the Vision arms and really have to say that it's crazy if people are buying them for $500!!!!!
Several months ago, I noticed that I could buy complete "new style" Skunk 2 arms for the 93 civics from LightningMotorsport (a sponsor) for only $190.
I bought a set , made up a jig, and made my own arms from pieces cut from the Skunk 2 arms.
This photo shows the arm prior to doing the final welding.

The complete write-up is at;
http://www.performanceforum.co....html
I haven't mounted them on the car and in reality don't have the need due to the car not being that low.
The arms will NOT solve the problem of bottoming out the arm against the inner fender on a drastically lowered car. You would have to "notch" that area of the frame, which you would with any method of getting camber adjustment.
No, I'm not building them for others.
