installing clear corners,,,,,,,, help
Um, huh? I dont think so. If its anything like a 4th gen, its 1 screw from the top with the hood open, and 3 plastic pins that pop right out. Thats for the assembly. For the light bulb, you turn and pull. Be a little more specific and clear next time.
if it's the ones for the back bumper there is only one screw

Sorry for being vague,,, I was a little hyped up after struggling trying to get the corners out. Cannot believe that its such a pain.
I am trying to put in clear corners on a 97 Accord. I got the screw but the assembley is securely held in place.
What pins ? Do not see them ??

This is the front by the headlight right? These can be a real bitch to pop out. Once the screw is removed, you have to just pull straight forward. Some wiggling might help. I actually wrapped a screwdriver with a cloth and poped it out from the back.
There is only one screw that I know of on the front clear corners. They are in there pretty damn tite. On the new clears, there should be three pins going straight back from the housing. these are tension fit in the headlight assembly. You should be able to remove them without removing the headlight assembly and bumper

Oh god yes this is one of the bigger pains in the ***. I think we broke one of the screw brackets trying to get it in, it didn't affect anything, but still, what a hoe of an install.
Whoa, I guess this is harder on a 5th gen than a 4th! Theres three plastic braket pins that you might need a screw driver to wiggle out. But it wasnt this hard on my car. They poped right out.
IF Its the front clear corners.. mine took like 3-4 min.. then i again i was at my homeboyz shop.. who had done Clear Corners many times

Installing 5th gen clear corners is so easy. It is hard to pop out b/c it has been stuck in there for a while. There is 1 screw on each side (total of 2) remove the screw with a philips screwdriver and pull out. Turn the lightbulb housing counter clockwise and bam. Same thing for other side...........it isnt that hard
yea i had a problem with them...they are a pain...but i found out after u unscrew the screws....just stick ur hand under the bumper and push it out.....after u change the bulbs...this is the trick it has a little clip on the right side of the lens....before u slide that in....unclip that white clip from the bulb holder....makes it easier....and stick ur hand under there and hold that white clip that connects to the car....but u have to have the bulb in the bumper lene iwth that grey thing that holds it...alright with ur hand under the bumper and opposite side of that hole hold it so it keeps ur place....then slide the bumper lense and the tricky part is trying to clip it back on there.....it's alot easier than trying to force the whole thing in there.....and it does take a couple tries to clip it in just keep ur hand on that clip the same direction that bulb holder is........
If your talking about the clear corners in the headlights read the owners manual. I had trouble getting them off too. its best to unscrew the top screw and wiggle it back in forth. but in the owners manual look under bulb replacement.
Hey thanks for all the good info on taking out the corners. I will give another try tomorrow AM.
I feel better now that I know I am not as incompetent as I thought at doing my own mods. Those buggers are stuck right in there,,,,,,,,, I guess they have to be if there is only 1 little phillips head holding them in.

So,,, final update on the clear corners,,,,,,,,,,,,
I got the old ones out but broke every pin on both lights in the process. The metal pin was corroded and stuck big time. Had to pull them out with pliers and that was a bear.
The new ones went in like butter. Put some spark plug boot lube on the metal pins to keep them from corroding as bad.
