questions about ls vtec
ROFL. . but to answer your question. . .Import Builders did a dyno of a LS/VTEC with a GSR head, and it yielded higher numbers than a B16 Head with CTR Cams. . . . So I dont know. . . I'd probably recommend a GSR head if you can find one. .
this website encourages people NOT to go with a ls vtec, but is it really true? http://www.phatwhippincrx.20m.com/custom4.html
any head will do as long as it's Vtec. But for better results i'd recommend you to get better internals than stock unless of course you find an Itr head. A B16 head with upgraded cams valve springs and retainers, port and polish will yield about the same results as an Itr head!!
the gsr head yields higher compression, but the b16 "flows" better. *cough bullshit cough*
actually, the b16 does flow better, but i've seen flow charts. the advantage is minimal and completely unnoticable. the higher compression of the gsr head is more of an advantage.
