Default Strange prob with engine swap

Hey all.

What do you make of this.

Just put a D15B into my 91 Hatch DX. Car idles fine, drives fine. Take it to a hill or a driveway incline, and the engine cuts out.

What do you think?

Did the car run fine before ? Or did you get the car and just toss and engine in it ? I know carbureted engines can have this problem, maybe you have something in your gas tank and when ever you go up hill it rolls or swims back to the fuel pump.

Sounds like a compression problem, I know I did a d16y8 swap once and the exact problem accured but it had to do with a short in the wires hooking up to the dizzy which was causing it not to have enough spark so when the gas was accelled going up a hill or what not, the gas would kill the spark and therefor the engine.
