Bosch Dud?
ok ya'll know my mpg sucked...
well today i broked down and bought a O2 sensor for my accord, I went to autzone and asked for a honda accord 98 O2 sensor...well
well they sold me a honda accord "92" version..which i didnt care cuz i got it for 64 dollars, but bad move..
i had to rewire it to fit in the 98 socket, i put all the colors right and stuff...
car turns on but i still had the CEL,,,which i was pretty ticked off ill tell you that. So i was like ill drive it for now, went home the ride wasnt so bad but stop lights was a pain..
went to a other autozone got my codes....heater curicut problem
reason..bad O2!!
the car idle at's 500 rpm and sometimes 350 rpm

is this safe for at least 3 weeks, before i can spend 90 bucks for a 98 version?

yea 10 times.. its running today, but i got a short somewhere tho... i dunno where
the idle is still off then my cars normal is 700 rpm..
but when i brake to make a stop it drops to 250 rpm then idles to 500 rpm then wait 5 seconds it goes back to 700 rpm... fells shaky around 300 to 600 rpm range..
odd i must add

I was having crazy idle problems back when my o2 sensor went out. After i replaced the o2 and it still idled crazy, i just got a new air filter and put in new plugs, worked fine.
Definitely not a tranny problem. o2 sensors can really mess up the car's performance.
