Default 98 accord 4cyl tranny on 90 accord?

My 90 Accord has around 153K on the clock and I have some grinds in 2nd and 3rd. Thought it might be easier to just replace the tranny.

Found a 98 4cyl Accord Tranny complete in my area for sale with around 40k on it. My question is will this bolt up no problem to my F22a4 Accord engine in my 90 Accord??

thanks for the help

No, it won't work. In addition to the transmission being physically different, the electronics are also different.

Well that isn't good news but thanks. Guess H22 is a better all around idea then putting money in to the exsisting engine/tranny. Thanks

it should work, cause you can use the same flywheel and clutche so the tranny should also work...

Yep and Yep.....

Nearly all f series and h series parts are interchangable. The only f series part that won't work with the accords is the f20 from the s2k . But accord drivetrain parts are interchangable and lude parts as well because that is what they used in japan.
