I'm having a problem with a buddy's prelude. I need to push it (car can't start up) but for some reason it won't budge... I think the front wheels are locked up some how. I know this is a stupid question, but I need to get this car moved tonight. Anybody else ever have this problem?

 

if its been sitting for awile, rust will form on the rotors and make it hard to push or the tires will get "flat spots" on them from where they have been sitting so it won't want to roll...

 

you might have a bad brake master cylider. They will lock up if the seals inside are bad.

 

lemme ask that magical question, is it an auto or manual transmission?

I lived temporarily in an area where it rained all the time. If I let my car sit for a couple days, it would take a little extra effort to break loose. That gets my vote as well...

Im definitely going with rusted rotors. When I left for Afganistan I garaged my car and asked someone to take it down the street every week. He didn't garage it, the rotors rusted...bad. So I had to get new ones just to move my car. I was gone for 10 months. Kinda sucked.
