WOW i can not find ****. RSX-R headers for the type S? big diff? worth 375? RSX-R manifold.... worth it? make a diffrence..... damn i cant find ****.... does anyone know for a fact and if u had to chose one of those which one first. I need specs i got to buy some ****! plus does the rsx-R header come with the full downpipe connected to the cat? (sence the cat is connected to the downpipe) come on you guyz know alot about stuff. let me know

 

I'm sorry, before I can even begin to help you I need to understand what you are asking/saying.

 

Specs on rsx-r parts. like the headers and manifold, cams, etc. how much of a diffrence they will make on my type s. what is the hp gain. etc...

 

be more specific, one at a time, can't just come here and ask for the spec differences on every component between the R and S, there are too many to lists. The frame structure of the R and S are difference and down to bolts, there may be some differences too...

 

Actually, i think it would be great to begin cataloging the differences.

Let s start witht the FD and the Gear ratio's. Anyone know and does anyone know what the FD kit includes by any of the various vendors.

The R Exahust Manifold and the R Downpipe are both totally differnt from that of the S; I can't totally recall, but I think the R car and the S cat is differnt.(don't have my parts list catalogue to verify that at the moment) wait, I think they use the same cat... anyways, I can verify for you tm if you want.
Performance wise? no facts or figures installed onto USDM S.....
but the design is totally differnt though!
ok to make it simple here and end it... if you were thinking to get the exhaust manifold(Header) you have to get the downpipe too! beacuse they will not bolt on!

I have actually seen 5zigen headers shown online for the type r, but they wouldn't work on the type s since the US model has 02 sensors, and the 5zigen header is not smog legal. Pateince.........

for the intake manifold.... it seems to me they use the same one on the S but however, some hosing are different..... but the main unit is the same.
For the headers(exhaust manifold) $375 is quite pricey, I can hook you up at a maximum price of $300usd!
