will i pass nj inspection with these mods??
i am over due for an inspection. just curious if my car will pass. i have a kenji p28 but i will put the stock ecu back in. t1r catback with silencer, aem cai, jdm header, t1r resonated test pipe... i never had a cel even when i was obd2.. will i pass inspection
you will not pass if they do a visual inspection of the cat ( because you dont have one)
otherwise if you had a cat i would say so....with the stock ecu

i would think that the header, cat, exhaust, and stock ecu would lean it out enough to pass....
but that is just guessing , i dont know how strict the emissions laws are in NJ

Strict... that's an understatement.
and if you have any tint on the front doors= fail.
You should use the stock cat to go there...
You also might want to go to a privately owned inspection place, some will over look certain things, like noise and what not...
the state Inspection place follows the book to a 'T', but is free

Burning oil is not a problem for Inspections as long its not CLOUDS of smoke which would cause a safety issue...
Little do they know that if I'm going hard the trail of smoke could drop a cow
