i have just built my block after blowing it on 8psi. i want to put a hondata in it and tune it but i should wait til i run 1000miles correct? being how you have to redline the engine to tune it, right ! i am just making sure b/c i have friends who think they know more than me and they wont believe me so i need others inputs. it will be broken in at 8psi with a vortech fmu, stock injectors and walbro fuel pump is that ok? then i plant to put 720cc injectors and hondata in . also on the obd2 to obd1 harness , are they universal or do i need a specific for the h22a stock harness to the p28 hondata. thankx

 

just take it straight to the dyno, you dont need to run it for 1K miles. Go get the correct A/F Ratio on the dyno ASAP, dont wait 1K miles for piston damge then likely oil leaks.

If you dont have hondata or any thing to tune it with, dont even start it. Dont go hauling *** on it, nothing. You are most likely going to kill your 2nd motor real soon.

i am assuming at least 16, lol.

if you blew it on 8 PSI sounds like you just bolted the turbo on and drove, please go go go to the dyno, get it tuned, get hondata, and have someone lvl out your A/F ratio, do it, or you will blow it up again.
