88 Civic problem...please help
I have a 88 civic automatic. The problem is it wont go any faster than 110 Kph (65 Mph) Timing belt is set properly. Ignition timing is good. Acceleration is fine but tops out at 110 Kph. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
sounds like a "safe mode" issue to me. Any check engines? Any codes?

1 is your oxygen sensor. Thats not whats causing the problem. Automatics have tendency to freak out when the slightest thing goes wrong, though, so look into that.
16 is a problem. Fuel Injectors. I know nothing about what causes this, but it is most likely the source of your problem.
At least we know where to start.
