Do not get the DUNK exhaust! I spanked a Type R with that exhaust...of course he didn't have NOS. But you will lose HP. Stock vs his 4-1 header and DUNK exhaust, I walked him. Just my .02 cents.

N1. The world sport won't be enough for NOS. The N1 is really loud though. All the free flowing exhausts I know are loud.

The Kakimoto R has 70mm OD b-pipe (the ID is just a little bit over 2.5"). For sure it will flow enough air for your NOS application!!

do you have an idea??????
i dont get it about the free flowing exhaust. . .?
if you get the cat back as with all the apexi ehausts they will have resonators. . . unless you go ghetto and just get a muffler and weld it on to a piece of pipe. . .
and for the n1 it aint loud unless you just get the muffler and do stright pipe to it .
and for the dunk wont handle n20?/????/, last time i checked you dont need a certain exhaust for n20 to work right.
please dont post opinions if you have no clue what your talking about .
any exhaust will be fine . if you want something thats not that loud , maybe the world sport , or comptech . but i like the n1, thats what i got.

I don't mind loud I just don't wanna be pulled over......as long as it's not THAT loud and if it is I'm sure the silencer will help it out while on long trips or something right?

just leave the stock exhaust on there. It works great and it nice and quiet.

nahI think the 2.25 really holds you back from a lot of hp with the nitrous...and plus I sold my stock exhaust ....n1 should be fine thanks everyone...now should I get a carsound cat or a testpipe do i need anything to be able to connect either one to my jdm 4-1???

your gonna need a 2.5 in flange to connect the pipe of cat to the header. . . . . id go with the test pipe all the way

you can stand the loudness can't you itr206.....and should I not even bother with the silencer...all I worry about is the popo....but I guess since it has a resonator I should be ok....

dude, youll be fine without the silencer. . . if not then put in the silencer.
but the cat back piping has all the same resonators as the stock piping. that way you make power in stead of lose it with no back pressure.

sweet then it's set then apexi n1 will be ordered in 3 weeks now I just gotta found the cheapest place to get it hehehe..I will also order a test pipe around the same time...I also am deciding between injen cai and aem cai...I'll keep my weapon R for "rainy" days.....so far injen looks like my choice....we'll see I need real good intake for 5500 on up to 8500 or so

injens are tight if you dont want a cai . . . . .
but if you want cai , get the aem . . also you prob be better off making a test pipe , ive seen those things for like $100
i had mine made for like 30-40 and it serves the same purpose.
i got my n1 at robocar.com , they're # is 800-4-robocar, i think . i got it there for $500 shipped to pa from calli . so thats a bad azzz deal
if not call my guy wayne at fasttrackmotorsports.com. his # is 718-968-9113. tell him pete sent you and you got a type r . he'll work with you . he's got connects at apexi , he's real close to them in ny . let me knwo how it goes

.....well you're gonna want flow, so 3" or 80mm piping I would think for that big of a shot. Thermal has their 3" system that is bolt on, and you can get their stealth mod done to it so it's quiet... That's it for off the shelf...

For less $, I think I'd get the 80mm inlet universal apex muffler in dunk or n1 style and custom 3" straight piping under the rear arms... Loud, but effective... You could get a resonator for the tip to quiet it down a little when you wanna go on dates or something... lol But you prolly will have a hard time finding an exhaust that matches your engine when it's not on the bottle as well as when spraying... Such is the compromise you must make.

.
i disagree, the n1 with a cat on an ls motor is still disgustingly loud.

it was apex piping. two sets in fact after n1 was torn off going down the highway, the only piece that got torn off was the muffler/tip. the axle under piece was still on. btw, the car was near stock height.

btw, fs piping for ek, apex pipes from cat to underneth axle for sale new.
