is it possible to swap out our gear VSS for an electric VSS on the d-series trannies? if so, how?

 

im pretty sure you just take out the gear vss and replace with electric vss then do the wiring.

yup it just plugs in perfectly (auto's are diff), all u have to do is connect the 3 wires...

 

will b-series VSS fit into the d-series tranny? how do i get the gear VSS out? is it
held on by bolts?

One bolt.
I think it's a 10mm socket.

yes they are the same D/B/F/H series (5spds), most auto's are diff then 5spds though..

yeah its a 10mm u just have to turn it and wiggle it to get it out
