Well i got stopped today by the cops for my exhaust.... He told it was to loud and that it was strait ... I already knew that and told him that I actually couldnt take it anymore bc it was so fucken loud... So he told me that he would make me an offer....

He said he wouldnt give me a ticket if I was willing to give him my exhaust... It happens to be that I got stopped by the head of modified car of Montreal. He basically teaches the course to all the cops about the exhaust... So he gave me a month to take it off and a month so that no other cop can touch me ( as in giving me a ticket for it)

He told me that if I wanted a good performance exhaust that is legally he told me too look at the Dynomax Turbo..

SO my question to you guys is what would u suggest for a quiet but performance exhaust...

Get the dynomax turbo. That's a dumb question IMO, just get what he told you too, there isn't going to be a significant difference besides sound between most exhausts anyhow...

 

I'm running 2.25" all the way to my muffler, where I have a "stock" muffler that has 2.25" inlets and oulets - quiet as stock, and honestly, I can't tell a power diff, and according to my quarter mile times - I'm not suffering compared to similar cars.

just put a resonator on your exhaust...

i had a thermal exhaust and i cut off the resonator and put straight pipe and it was way to loud especially with headers and no cat... after a while i got sick of it and i put on a new resonator and it shut that thing up and no performance difference

 

damn cops, get a silencer

 

tell him well since im going to give you my exhaust i'll trade you for a dynomax

Couldnt you just take the fix-it ticket and then get tested and sell the old exhaust?

Im not sure how the laws are in canada...but thats what I wouldve done.

yea i agree, That **** is a rip. The exhaust is worth a lot more than the fix it ticket would be. What exhaust do you have anyways?

 

Dont give the cop your exhaust, he is ripping your *** off. There must me something illegal about cops receiving goods in exchange for not giving tickets.
