Default Throttle Body Help DC5

I have a bare DC5-R throttle body with no sensors on it. Is it possible to move the sensors from my type-s throttle body onto the new one as well moving the throttle link to the type-r one. I like to keep my cruise control. As well I been reading that the type-r throttle link does not like to work with the type-s throttle cable.

They are not the same. I believe the type-r one is 70 mm in diameter. I'm unsure about the type-s. I'm guessing either 60 or 64. I'm putting my money on 60mm.

Is there anyone that can help me with this problem I'm facing?

Well, if you install it, I believe you will lose your cruise control. Other than that it will probably all bolt up.

I understand that. But I want to know if its possible to move the throttle link from the type-s over to the type-r one and make the swap so I dont lose my cruise control. I been doing lots of reading on this.

I don't think you are right on that. I heard it is the same. this is because I wanted to get a Spoon TB and it is tapered bore from a 62 to a 70. I'm sure it's a 62mm bored on a Type S and Type R.

If thats the cases, it doesn't make any sense if the type-r intake manifold intake opening is bigger then the type-s one.

But I want to know if its possible to move all the sensors and throttle link over from the type-s one over to the type-r without a hitch to it. I'm getting the type-r throttle body bored. Any help on this would be appricated.

I think the type r tb is 68mm and the cables are different I have both the type r tb and i bought the spoon tb and they dont fit due to the cable on the type r being longer.
