Default Fuel pressure problem...

Heres the deal, i was at around 40psi, wanted to give it an extra psi or 2. So i adjusted it, didnt move. O well i left it.

Next day its up around 55-60psi.. Too much. So i adjust it down, dosent move.. Now its at about 37psi.

Thing is when i adjust it it dosent move, not even over time like before.

Its a B&M FPR and guage, possible the guage is going, or the FPR?

Are you adjusting it with the vacuum hose off the fpr? Does the gage move when you rev the motor?

yes, i pull off the hose and plug it with my finger, then twist the top of the regulator after loosening the set screw.

No the pressure does not change when i rev it .

That's not necessary. Next I would remove the gage and makes sure it reads 0 when removed. If the gage is good try another fpr.

I fixed it

problem was i was loosening the FPR.. Thinking if i losen it it would let more flow. I searched untill i found someone asking...

I tightened it up untill my fuel pressure was back up to 43psi right where it likes it. It runs so strong
