First you have to verify you have the necessities to get the car going.
Is there spark?
Is there fuel? If there is fuel do you know how much fuel pressure you have?
A low fuel pressure will surely be the cause of your car just cranking and not turning over.
If it is fuel related, you can look out for the major problematic areas:
-Fuel pump
-Main relay
-Fuel pressure regulator
-Fuel lines (leaky)
Spark, fuel and air are the components you need for combustion.

when my MFR was lunchin i would just punch the dash and the steering wheel and look like an idiot for 10 minutes and then it would miraculously 'connect' and work.
try that.
try that.
I had the same problem with my car and I changed the spark plugs and it still wouldn't start but if you say your car is cranking then im pretty sure its the ignition coil and I bought at the dealer for $89 once i changed that my car ran perfectly and it started right away. Also another way I knew it was that was when I was boosting around 5000 rpm the car wouln't go over that or it started hesitating because of the ignition coil.
how bout you have some1 there with you, then you go and pull the spark wire out of any cylinder then find any spark plug and stick it in the wire, hold the spark plug wire at the very top and stick the spark plug on one of you valve cover screw have your homie crank it and if you see no spark then your coil f*cked if its that trying changing or ask a friend if you can try out his distribitor try this maybe it can be the problem

well when my car wasn't starting I checked to see if there was spark and there was so the coil was still ok but not when I was boosting and then the next day it just went out it wouldn't start at all but once I changed the coil my car was fine.
Well I Ohm out my coil and the resistance value was within spec, so I'm thinking my coil is okay. Also, I've tried using 2 diffrent coils and still nothing.

check all related fuses, also pull your coil pack...if you see rainbow colored char marks on it, it is toast. If all else fails, contact Jim Blake ( user name on here) when it comes to hondas, he is the man
OK, heres what I've tried lately.....I took off my dizzy and tried it on my friends car. It fires up perfectly. I also put my ecu in his car and it fires up perfectly. I checked my Main relay with the HElms manual and its fine. I'm getting sparks and fuel but the damn car won't start. What Else can be wrong? PLEASE HELP!!!
